About the event
Dax is a Guatemalan graphic artist who specializes in calligraphy. He has gained recognition for his work in pieces that incorporate elements of abstract and calligraphic art. As a lover of calligraphy, all of his work is inspired by letters—by giving them new ways to adapt to the viewer’s eye, allowing them to transcend books and advertising.
Dax has participated in several exhibitions and art projects both in Guatemala and abroad, presenting pieces that are not only visually striking, but also culturally significant.
After the success of his recent exhibition “Rey Ahogado” at Rosas Botrán Gallery, Dax arrives at Utopía to share his unique vision.
His philosophy is clear: letters should move beyond conventional media and adapt to the viewer’s gaze with singularity and impact.
