Kintsugi cup

Kintsugi (金継ぎ) is a Japanese technique for repairing broken ceramics by joining the pieces with lacquer dusted with gold, silver, or platinum. Beyond its practical function, kintsugi is a philosophy that celebrates imperfection and the history of an object, showcasing its flaws rather than concealing them.

We will learn to repair a broken piece of porcelain with gold dust, while reflecting on the marks left by learning.
