About the event
Join us at Utopía to dive into the fascinating world of artistic resin through a hands-on, intensive workshop designed for those who wish to explore new techniques and expand their creative possibilities.
During this in-person workshop, you will learn about the different types of resins and their applications, combining theory and practice to properly understand the material and work with it safely. You will learn everything from resin preparation to pigmentation using pastes, mica, powdered metal, and alcohol ink, allowing you to experiment with color, depth, and texture.
Throughout the session, you will create pieces using six different techniques, applied to round molds measuring 10 cm in diameter. The techniques taught include encapsulation, geode, 3D flower, alcohol ink drops, Petri dish, and the combination of two elements. These techniques are applicable to a wide variety of molds and objects, such as keychains, jewelry, pens, coasters, trays, and more.
